We have an immediate opening for a strong, manager of projects to join our North American Supply Chain Solution Delivery team to assist managing our Manhattan Open Systems WMS implementations. You'll bring significant experience providing project management of large-scale supply chain and logistics implementations across multiple sites. A key element of your success will be your background as a team builder noted for your ability to hire, train, develop, and manage diverse technical, functional, and operational teams in support of our rapidly growing North American and Canadian divisions including Marshalls, Homegoods, TJMaxx, Winners and Homesense.

Key responsibilities and experience will include:
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and business partnering skills
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with senior and line level business clients regarding project scope, status, options and change management
  • Works with business leaders to understand business strategies, financial investments, and technology gaps for a specific set of domains or functional area; sets strategic direction of organization to support
  • Manhattan Associates systems experience desired
  • Owns and develops a project portfolio that addresses business and technical needs within business timelines and financial targets and balancing short term and long term needs
  • Ensures appropriate level of project governance is in place, including decision-making authority, approval requirements, monitoring and standards
  • Partners with various teams within IT as needed to forge key agreements around strategic and cross functional decisions
  • Acts as initial point of inquiry for strategic requests and an escalation point for business critical issues
  • Works with vendors to ensure product or service delivered meets pre-agreed requirements and standards of quality within budgetary constraints
  • Accountable for lifecycle and change management for products in their domains, and partners with supporting functions to ensure roadmaps are in place
  • Develops and monitors solution delivery performance metrics, measures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure quality and operational efficiency and effectiveness; focuses on improving effectiveness and efficiency of specific domain
  • Conducts performance appraisals of staff and provides career guidance through regular coaching to develop them for future growth and expanded assignments
  • Manage payroll, resource and SOW/vendor budgets
  • Understanding of TJX Legacy Systems desired
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain/operations experience
  • 5+ years’ experience leading across people, technology and systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience desired
