We are a subcontractor to a large integrator in the Fair Lakes area supporting the Tactical Control System program for the Navy. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support a hardware upgrade that is due for delivery. This engineer shall provide services as directed by our client in support of system engineering activities associated with technical tasking. The Systems Engineer shall support the AN/BYG-1 variants initial introduction and post-delivery activities.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing the system engineering documentation throughout the product life cycle.
- Systems analysis
- Development of requirements
- Development of test procedures
- Support of systems engineering meetings

Specific Responsibilities
Responsibilities include deriving system and subsystem level requirements and working with a team to develop the corresponding design. Strength in documentation and management skills are a must. This position will support Customer meetings and tasking. This includes leading weekly working groups with corresponding subsystems in order to brief the Customer on new capabilities and design during milestone reviews. Additional responsibilities include organization and management of the project's Capability Items (CI), oversight and development of test procedures, and collaboration with the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) community.

Requirements and test procedures will be managed in the DOORS requirements management tool. There will also be interaction with SWFTS and the NBCR process. Engineering documentation shall include the development of SSS, SSDD, SRS, PVT, and EIT documents.
