Buyer/Purchasing Supervisor

The company is looking for a purchasing person that has 1-3 years of purchasing, will train in Oracle but would prefer someone to have SAP or Oracle.
- Manage daily purchasing transactions, including purchase requisitions and purchase orders, for equipment production and non-production items.
- Prepare equipment bill of materials by obtaining quotes and uploading items into Oracle.
- Perform data analysis to help support supply chain strategies and initiatives.
- Manage supplier and inventory item information within our ERP system.
- Analyze procurement categories identifying product trends, spending patterns, and areas of performance improvements.
- Assist in the development of our supply base through assisting in supplier selection, monitoring supplier performance, and building supplier relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 year degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, engineering, or similar
- Minimum 1 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a self-managed, hard-working, self-motivated individual.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Outlook
- Previous experience with Oracle or SAP preferred (some sort of ERP system a big plus)
