Job Description

Job Overview: The Retail Store Manager thrives in a dynamic and high energy environment. They are responsible for the leadership and management of a retail store location; along with meeting or exceeding sales goal of the store. The position directs daily activities of store operations to increase revenue drive standards of excellence and maintain established processes to ensure outstanding customer service.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fully accountable for execution of sales, service and customer experience initiatives in store

  • Protect and maintain company assets and resources to include inventory accuracy and fixtures

  • Maintain operational effectiveness of the store by, working opening/closing/weekend shifts and otherwise remaining compliant with the scheduling guidelines as the business dictates.

  • Create schedules based upon workload planning and business needs. Manage payroll to established budget

  • Coach and counsel all team members on performance issues, taking appropriate corrective action in partnership with District Manager and Human Resources

  • Execute and train register functions, opening and closing procedures and balance the cash registers at the end of each shift or as scheduled. Adhere to and execute bank deposit process

  • Ensure training, visual merchandising and operations adhering to T-Mobile standards

  • Observe and coach employee team to provide feedback around sales techniques

  • Complete duties and provide leadership designed to deliver high levels of service to customers to maximize individual performance goals

  • Provide answers directly to customers concerning billing processes, roaming, equipment, service plan upgrades and other customer service related issues inquiries

  • Ensure that sales associates are trained and maintain knowledge for new products and offerings

  • Participate in community events, local marketing events and public relations activities to develop a positive image for the company in the local community

  • Ability to travel to retail locations in a defined area

Education and/or Experience

  • 3+ years of retail establishment management experience

  • Supplement knowledge/education is preferred but not required.
