Store Manager Position

Tin Pot Creamery’s Store Manager is expected to ensure a great customer experience while maximizing sales and profit. The Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of their assigned store(s). Must maintain their store with quality staff, excellent customer service, cleanliness, product stock and quality.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years food service management or retail management experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand on your feet for 40+ hours per week
  • has ServSafe Manager’s Card or willing to obtain within 2 weeks of hire

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee daily operations of Tin Pot Creamery location(s) as assigned
  • Coach, teach and demonstrate sound customer service principles to staff
  • Develop and support employees including weekly 1:1 meetings and yearly performance reviews
  • Communicate needs and issues with District Manager throughout the week and during 1:1 meetings
  • Keep on top of staffing needs: recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding per company policy
  • Continual employee training and focus on employee retention and satisfaction
  • Relaying new procedures, products, etc from Management to staff in a timely manner
  • Analyze and achieve labor, sales and service goals given by District Manager
  • Order product and monitor inventory and pars so we do not over order or run out.
  • Follow and enforce safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ensure staff follows company policies, guidelines, procedures and enforces HR compliance
  • Clearly communicates opportunities for improvement to team members and hold them accountable
  • Gives feedback to employees, coworkers and management in a timely manner
  • Approve and upload vendor bills in timely manner.
  • Use direct customer contact to resolve issues and get feedback
  • Ensure the maintenance of store equipment through routine cleaning and service check-ups.
  • Balances cash drawers, prepares deposits and places change requests with bank
  • Ensure store is consistently high performing and that the store’s and staff’s appearance and service match the brand and quality of Tin Pot’s values.
  • Submit monthly paperwork (inventory, gas reimbursements, petty cash log and receipts, waste log, expenses, usage and production logs, etc) by the 5th of every month
  • Successfully launches new flavor releases and specials
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 with AM or Keyholders/Shift Leads (dependent on location)
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Communicates changes in orders and deliveries to Operations Manager
  • Attends Leadership Training as assigned
