Job Objectives:

Provide pricing information on all forms of transportation.                                  

Essential Job Functions:

  • Promote safety in all actions.
  • Coordinate and report all pricing information for both internal and external customers.
  • Communicate all rate increases, changes, and updates to both internal and external customers.
  • Evaluate and prepare bids for all customer transportation proposals.
  • Proof, review, and complete all carrier contracts and questionnaires.
  • Facilitate all rate and customer changes or setup information between Pricing Department.
  • Streamline both internal and external software updates and changes for the Pricing Department.
  • Manage all functions of the Pricing Analyst, Rate Coordinator, and Billing Manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Carries out duties assigned by Vice President Finance as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Business Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, federal and state standards
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Self-starter with detail oriented work habits
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Display professional demeanor
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work well with wide range of individuals
  • Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of basic company employment policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual activity
  • Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds)

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment
