Job Description:
Focuses on the creation, maintenance and execution of test scripts and other specialty testing activities in the areas of automation testing, performance testing, test environments or application specialties. Is considered a subject matter expert in one or more of these areas. Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process. Typically focused on automating new functionality pre-release and maintenance post-release, or driving efficient testing in other areas. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
SENIOR QA WITH Automation (%60 Automation - %40 Manual) As part of a premier Fixed Income trading group, you will review Business requirements/design specifications, create test plans, write test scripts, execute test procedures and generate defect reports. Work closely with the QA and Applications Development team and Business Analysts in delivering new enhancements and maintaining existing applications that support the trading of various fixed income instruments. You will be expected to gain knowledge of how the internals of business works from receiving offers to executing trades.
Required Skills:
* Automation QTP -- should be able to code and run scripts -Extensive testing experience of multi-tier apps (trading system testing experience a Plus) -Creating and executing test scripts/plans/cases based on business requirements. -Performing Usability and Regression testing. -Ensuring the necessary environment for appropriate testing is in place. -Reporting and managing issues and test activities on a regular basis. -Experience creating SQL queries using MS SQL and Data level testing (Offerings, Orders etc) -Knowledge of Unix commands to review logs, run text based commands to initiate tests etc is a must -Experience with issue tracking tools (JIRA/QC a Plus) -Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and working in a fast paced Agile environment -Financial industry experience (Bonds, Stocks) a strong plus -Must be self starter and have the ability to work independently and within a team -Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail -Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking required -Knowledge of MQ Series and XML messaging a Plus. -Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
