Overview

The Global FIG Sales Vertical is responsible for end-to-end strategic management of the Financial Services Companies and Global Government Segment. The FIG Vertical covers all regions and all FI/NBFI and Global Government portfolios in North America, EMEA, APAC and LATAM including both GCBK and GCB financial institutions. The group is responsible for driving revenue, mitigating risk, defining strategic direction, and implementing governance controls and processes for this client segment.

This role is global in nature and focuses on KYC, due diligence, and client account closures. The position interfaces with several teams including: Global Sales, Regional Sales, GCBK, GCB, GCIB, COO, GFCC, Product, and Business Support, Systems (LEO, GTS-BI, PARS), Finance, and Legal allowing for the FIG Vertical Associate to choose his/her career path after being in the role.

Job Responsibilities

* Process design and cross-regional project management

* Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence

* Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related and closure issues to management

* Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture

* Analyze High Risk client profiles to ensure fit with risk parameters

* Interpret of regulatory and audit documents

* Interact with client, product management, COO and compliance teams

* Identify and implement process improvements as needed

Requirements

* Five years of experience in a financial services environment

* Strong financial acumen and analytical skills

* Strong planning and organization skills

* Must pay strong attention to detail

* Must be proactive and responsive

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to deliver on tactical initiatives

* Critical thinking and problem solving skills

* Easily able to navigate complex processes / ideas

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools -- Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint

* Knowledge of Treasury Services

* Documented experience in systems/data orientation

* Proven ability to manage timelines and display sound judgment to escalate issues as needed

Desired Skills

* Proficient in GTS-BI, PARS, Navigator and other LOB-specific platforms

* Project Management experience
