Job Description:
SQL Server ETL Developer will be responsible designing/developing/testing MS SQL Server queries for data extraction and reporting, performing data conversions (ETL) from several data sources, develop necessary SQL for loading, updating and maintaining data marts, aggregation and other activities needed for managing data required for Business Intelligence Reporting Reporting Solutions using Microstrategy Technology.
Required Skills
* Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
* Strong SQL Programing skills
* 5-7
years of application programming experience in Teradata and MS SQL Server
(2012), Transact-SQL, Stored Procedures
* Must
have excellent software design and documentation skills
* Must
be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
* Must
have excellent organization skills
* Experience
with the development data models for reporting (Star & Snowflake)
* Experience
developing Data Models/ETL Processes supporting Business Intelligence Reporting
Projects using Microstrategy or other BI tools
* Able
to communicate effectively across varied areas including technology, business
units and senior leadership
* Ability
to work on multiple projects concurrently.
