Inside Sales/Lead Generation Specialist
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales/Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for successfully influencing prospective vendors to partner with us by submitting a vendor application and profiling the right vendor accounts for new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Initiates and develops high-level relationships with equipment vendors/dealers. The two main responsibilities of this role are new vendor acquisition and ensuring 90% or better data capture for profiling a vendor (Company Profile).
*Builds pipeline of potential vendors to support quota
*Forecasts monthly new vendor applications
*Exceeds outbound call objectives through cold calling efforts and responsible for any inbound responses for interested vendors looking to partner with .
*Identifies business opportunities, develops pipeline, forecasts VAPPs each month and develops incremental action plans to close gaps between forecast and actual quota
*Maintains a question based solution-oriented selling approach. Effectively qualifies vendors through Leasing Needs Analysis; uses value-based selling methods such as SPIN
*Diligently uses sales management database (Salesforce) for sales processing; captures relevant data, keeps comprehensive and accurate notes in database
*Effectively uses Internet and other resources to prospect for new leads, and to better understand vendor's industry and business.
*Organized approach to working through lead sources to generate new business
*Maintains all essential self-study programs to ensure understanding of products and assigned business segments
*Assists Director where appropriate.
*Utilize, test and share best practices
*Maintains intelligence on competition, understands competitors' strengths and weaknesses and effectively articulates competitive advantage
*Keeps management informed about geographic and market opportunities
