A successful multicultural Programming Lead will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint with some knowledge of database basics (e.g. Microsoft Access) and Tableau helpful
• Sound analytical skills; both qualitative & quantitative and the ability to think creatively and independently, as well as collaboratively (finance background preferred)
• Experience or demonstrated interest in working with foreign cultures and the Pay-TV industry
• Excellent communication, organization and multi-tasking skills; Comfort in communicating with upper management; high focus on building and maintaining strong internal and external business relationships
• Attention to details while reviewing and managing contracts
• A desire to work closely with our business teams on managing contracts, resolving issues and developing new processes
• Energy, resourcefulness and a demonstrated desire to achieve

We are recruiting for a Multicultural Programming Lead (focus on East Asian) to work with and assist the international programming department.  The international programming department is responsible for securing the necessary rights that DISH/Sling need to distribute international channels from all over the world to its customers in the United States.  The work environment in this department is fast paced with over one hundred and fifty transactions (new channels and renewals) closing, on average, per year and a portfolio of over one hundred and fifty contracts to manage.

 Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Working closely with our international business team and our international programming attorneys to manage East Asian programming contracts
• Manage relationships with East Asian programmers, being the point of contact for contracts, tax forms, operational and payment related issues
• Provide market intelligence, explore other East Asian programming opportunities and evaluate programming content
• Prepare summaries and reports for specific programmer relationships when necessary
• Assists manager with deal support, analysis of COGS, revenue, and subscriber trends
