Senior TIBCO Developer

Responsibilities

• Works in a team environment to deliver application systems according to HEB business needs
• Serves as the technical expert for assigned projects and application systems
• Serves as the functional expert for one or more application areas within HEB
• Creates application system designs and support applications
• Demonstrate effective communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Significant experience working on Agile Scrum software projects
• Uses detailed requirements to develop application code using various programming languages
• Proactively communicates status, issues, and concerns regarding application systems to management and offers solutions
• Provides work breakdown structures to leadership for technical work needed for complex development efforts
• Leads less experienced team members through the following:

oDeveloping application code using various programming languagesoDebugging new and existing application systemsoDeveloping and executing test cases to ensure application accuracyoDeveloping documentation for application systems

• Assisting in research and fact-finding efforts needed to develop or modify application systems
• Communicating with end users to gather and clarify requirements
• Works effectively with both local and remote team members
• Performs all tasks according to HEB standards and practices and ensures compliance of less experienced team members

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in related field, preferred
• 6-9 years experience
• Proficient with multiple development environments (client/server, browser, mobile, package-based environments)
• Proficiency in high level languages such as Java
• Strong working knowledge of XSD, XML, and Web Services using WSDL, SOAP, REST and JSON
• Strong working knowledge of databases
• Enterprise Service Bus
• Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working on each of the following Enterprise TIBCO integration technologies:

oTIBCO Business Works 5.13.0oTIBCO Admin 5.6.x and higheroTIBCO EMS 8.2.2oTIBCO Hawk 5.2.0

Physical and Other Requirements

• Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
• Occasional travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
• Sit for extended period of time
• Work extended hours
