Position: Assistant Manager, Project Management

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Manager, Project Management will be responsible for managing the development and lifecycle of product launches on the Forever 21's international websites. This role will support a wide range of digital initiatives, delivering detailed specifications, process flows and mock-ups within a responsive design framework. Acts as the liaison between cross-functional team members in Ecommerce Operations, IT, Global Creative and Production as well as external partners to ensure efficiency, timely execution and excellent user experience.

Deliverables:

  • Perform overall QA of the website to ensure all front end functionalities, content and graphics meet company's expectations and are aligned with the global brand representation & strategies
  • Manage project scope to ensure realistic goals for schedules and content.
  • Research best practices, new technology and competitive landscape as needed.
  • Handle crisis management when site performance or marketing execution issues occur and manage information flow to all stakeholders
  • Drive project execution and delivery according to business needs and requirements
  • Provide ecommerce functionality expertise during project planning, development and production-support.
  • Help to track a range of key projects and initiatives to keep the US ecommerce team up-to-date on all major projects and to share relevant updates and enhancements regarding systems and processes
  • Work with the technical support teams to report and track bugs (tickets), test new technology releases (QA/UAT), and communicate ideas for new enhancements
  • Support Web Production and Operations Managers with project planning, execution and follow-up
  • Create ad hoc marketing assets as needed
