About this job
The Campground Maintenance Laborer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the Campground, as well fulfilling guests’ immediate maintenance and service needs. Including:
- Perform basic maintenance and repair duties in the areas of general labor, electrical/lighting, plumbing (including sewer), carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
- Use power tools and equipment such as mower, weed eater, back pack blower, chain saw, ladders.
- Use hand tools such as shovel, rake, wrench, screwdriver, hammer.
- Drive company vehicles such as trucks and utility vehicles.
- Maintain camp sites, comfort stations, maintenance shop, outside facilities (including swimming pool, playground, and pavilion).
- Service to the campsites, such as water, electric and sewage repair, garbage pickup.
- Perform duties related to row boat rental
- Pump propane.
- Set up for seasonal functions such as morning socials, hayrides, Christmas at the Campground, etc.
- Adherence to proper hospitality standards.
- Adherence to safety regulations.
- Perform special projects as assigned
- Perform overnight maintenance calls and camper check-ins
- All other duties as assigned.
