Restaurants Unlimited, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, organized, and motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to join the team at our corporate office in Seattle. This position contributes to the company’s success by supporting, developing and improving the financial processes that enable sound planning and decision-making. This position supports the development of strategic and operating plans, forecasts and analysis. Summary of Key Responsibilities: • Conducts decision analyses for multiple departments such as marketing, operations, and supply chain as needed and communicates results. • Performs ad hoc business case analysis. • Supports established timelines and initiates reviews with managers to ensure plans are delivered on time and are consistent with company plans. Identifies and communicates plan risks and opportunities to all affected parties. • Provides analysis and feedback on financial performance and key performance measures. • Provides root cause variance explanations and highlights opportunities and risks. • Provides financial information to all levels of management. Ensures reports are complete, accurate and timely. • Establishes and facilitates process development and improvement initiatives. • Partners with key individuals in other departments at understanding variances and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
Requirements
• BA/BS required in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA preferred. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, Excel, SQL and Access • Experience with writing and/or editing reports in a BI tool preferred (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SharePoint) • Strong financial modeling skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritize, time manage and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with capacity to understand big picture implications • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality • Dependability, flexibility and professional demeanor • Displays experience and/or ability to research and document processes • Ability to present data at a high level to senior executives in various formats (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) • Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions • Supports and represents our CORE values
