Insulation Installer - Driver's License Required

84 Lumber is looking for individuals to install energy efficient products and services in our customer's homes. Selecting the proper materials and installation methods is critical to meet the efficiency needs of each job. You will be working both inside and outside in craw spaces, attics and basements; insulating these areas as well as refrigerated areas, boilers and steam pipes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Install insulation – Batts, Spray on, Blow in; onto a variety of structures and surfaces to exclude or retain heat
• Install vapor barriers
• Complete prep work including foam and caulk, fireproofing, baffles, wind tunnels, filling joist spaces, etc.
• Load and unload building materials
• Complete safety checks and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment
• Job site cleanup
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Required Skills

• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to work in confined spaces as well as roof top applications
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; or 1 to 3 months related experience or training.
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must have clean driving records.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for operating vehicle if needed.
• General construction knowledge is a plus
