Overview
Job Summary: Responsible for delivering annual revenue and profit goals for the company eCommerce channel by implementing strategy and managing day-to-day operations. The position defines the user experience, offers and tactics that connect acquisition activities to conversion and install goals.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Support the implementation of a new eCommerce platform, including scope definition and execution, process and procedure development, change management plans, and customer testing and communication.
- Create and continually test eCommerce acquisition strategy that ultimately leads to responsibility for overall profitability of the programs designed to deliver on key business outcomes.
- Measure and analyze performance and KPIs across marketing programs and identify testing plans and ongoing optimization of the conversion funnel.
- Leverage analytics, web tools and voice of customer research to maintain a strong understanding of customer personas and journey and how they can be optimized for increased performance.
- Develop and execute an ecommerce scorecard to measure performance and profitability of all initiatives and report results to stakeholders.
- Partner with a team of specialists to implement eCommerce campaigns across programs including SEO, SEM, Social, Email, Display, Retargeting, Affiliates, Direct and Shared Mail.
- Collaborates with Analytics, Call Center, Customer Service, Education, Finance, IT, Operations and Sales to engage on strategies designed to deliver on desired outcomes and improve the customer experience.
- Capable of and willing to act on his/her own. Seeks responsibilities and takes action without explicit instructions. Brings the game to the Digital Acquisition Manager.
- Utilizes proven methods of analysis (inductive and deductive) to determine root cause of complex problems both within and beyond his/her responsibility and identify/evaluate remedies.
- Act as the internal evangelist for eCommerce by holding best practice meetings, expressing fundamental ideas and strategies with clarity to frontline, team, pears and Marketing Leadership Team. Drives understanding and alignment in Marketing around the Circle of Life.
Qualifications
Background & Education:
Education *:* Bachelor’s degree (marketing focus preferred)
Skills/Background:
Extensive knowledge and experience in designing, running and maintaining successful enterprise B2C eCommerce related activities in a data driven environment. Strong blended knowledge of marketing fundamentals, practices, media types. Strategic planning with strong thought-leadership capability, business experience and big picture focus while driving accomplishment of company goals.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools/programs including, but not limited to: Google products including Analytics, Adwords, Tag Manager, Display Network; Kenshoo, Facebook, Listrak etc.
Strong planning skills and working knowledge of ecommerce marketing tools/software (cart management, cms, email, promotions, advertising, spreadsheets and reporting) required.
Minimum Years Experience:
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in e-commerce (preferable B2C)
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in digital marketing
