* This is a seasonal/temporary position within Life Time.
If you have food service experience, a passion for fitness, Healthy Way of Life in a fast casual environment, here's your chance to join the LifeCafe team. You'll work alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry leading healthy food options. Duties & Responsibilities
* Provides exceptional service to members and customers
* Ensures cleanliness in a fast paced customer focused environment
* Demonstrates a positive attitude and energetic personality with a strong work ethic
* Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
* Takes orders all over the pool deck in assigned stations
* Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars
* Garnishes drinks and plates preparatory to serving
* Places proper table and chair side service to the entire pool deck
* Totals bill and accepts payments
* Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course
* Complies with all company safety rules
Essential Functions
* Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time retail /food products and services.
* Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs

Education & Experience
* Working towards a high school diploma or GED
* At least one year restaurant experience with fast casual or full service experience
* Solid work ethic with strong decision making skills
* Experience taking initiative with minimal direction and supervision
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
* ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
* CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
