POSITION SUMMARY
This position is located in the National Care Management Quality Department and is responsible for the successful delivery of HEDIS, accreditation and regulatory analyses & reporting. The position will have a technical emphasis in the development of HEDIS improvement projects, requiring end-to-end support throughout the projects lifecycle.
Fundamental Components:
Primary responsibility will be to pull and analyze complex data for trends, draw conclusions, and provide in-depth root cause analyses. Collaborate with Regional and National QM clinical teams to develop reporting tools and production reports, including: create ad hoc data warehouse queries; implement strategies to pull data to meet work group objectives; and works to resolve systems and data integrity issues. These activities require advanced technical, analytic and consultative skills, as well as an extensive knowledge of health care data and information systems
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
5+ years of relevant programming or analytic experience. Intermediate/Advanced SSMS or Base SAS programming abilities in Hadoop and/or big data analytics environment. Strong reporting skills using SSRS, Tableau, MS Excel or MS Access. *Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards; demonstrated subject matter expert in multiple subject areas.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
