Job Summary

Senior Security Representative = Facility Security Officer (FSO) / Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) / Program Security Officer (PSO) types should apply who are use to multi-faceted program security work in both DOD and SCI arenas.

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Support and provide oversight to complex government programs with responsibility for collateral to SCI

  • Provide oversight in areas of Personnel, Physical, Facility and OPSEC for both DoD and SCI programs to protect classified and sensitive information

  • Oversee investigations of incidents of security infractions or violations

  • Ensure interpretation of government program classification guides and provide education as needed

  • Administer, direct, and review security operation programs to ensure safe and secure environment

  • Advise management in improving and carrying out policies in accordance with security and institutional, state and federal regulations

  • Develop methods to improve security policies, processes, and practices, and recommend changes to management

  • Fulfill reporting requirements of all-relevant government rules and regulations

  • Manage development of specialized training to guide personnel

  • Represent organization in formal meetings

  • Motivate, develop and direct people

  • Communicate effectively in writing

  • Effective problem solving KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • Insider Threat Program requirements: Human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders

  • Relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions

  • Laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process

  • Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

  • Investigative and analytical techniques, procedures and requirements

ABILITY TO:

  • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing

  • Listen to and understand information with the ability to present or brief as needed

  • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand

  • Communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand

Qualifications

  • This is a security administration / officer position: FSOs, CSOs, CSSOs and PSOs all welcome to apply!

  • Working knowledge of resource material that describes the policies and procedures for the protection of classified information and the ability to overlay those policies to develop a strong security program

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education:

  • Bachelors degree or applicable years of experience preferred

  • Current TS/SCI with Poly
