Occupational Therapist PRN

This position providesoccupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover andmaintain occupational skills. Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively performoccupational skills. Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type andfrequency of treatment. Implementsthe treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Documents subjective and objective findingsof patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed. Seeksconsultation as necessary. Educatesthe patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and/orassists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipmentand support programs. EOE

Requires: NM Occupational Therapist Licensure. Current BLS.

Requires: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.

Requires critical thinkingskills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
