About this job

The Assistant General Manager must maintain a high level of excellence in quality, service, cleanliness, consistency and value in support of reaching the restaurant’s profit goal. The Assistant General Manager aides the General Manager in compliance to standards for Guest relations, prescribed company policies and practices, operational costs, safety, and sanitation.  

The Assistant General Manager in partnership with General Manager must develop an environment conducive to the development and growth of all other management and team members.   The Assistant General Manager ensures that individual departmental tasks given to team members are completed and produce expected results.   The Assistant General Manager is held accountable for delegated accounting and administrative duties as prescribed by the company standards. 

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•	Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
•	3+ years of increasing restaurant management and P&L experience.
•	Experienced team leader able to produce results through others 
•	Proficient in restaurant operations and finances including but not limited to budgeting and forecasting, labor mgt, cost controls, purchasing and inventory.
•	Takes initiative, provides direction, and work with others as part of a coordinated team Strong supervisory, leadership, hands-on management and coaching skills to ensure established service levels are achieved at all times. 
•	Ability to communicate successfully and comfortably with various levels including management, departmental heads, customers and Guests. 
•	Demonstrated ability to lead and work well under pressure; ability to prioritize, time manage, problem solve and multi-task successfully with limited supervision. 
•	Knowledge of customer service and guest recovery techniques. 
•	Demonstrates integrity and ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
•	Proficient with MS Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.
•	Must be able to work a variety of scheduled hours
