Position Title: Coordinator I Refrigeration Technician

Position Location: Elkton, MD

Position Summary:

Responsible for Preventive Maintenance and repairs on store's HVAC, ice machines and refrigeration system. This position required the ability to lift 100 lbs., answer emergency service calls on above mentioned equipment, complete assigned work orders and paperwork.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete all required safety training and follow all applicable rules and regulations.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Complete and maintain records for preventive maintenance program checklists.
• Communicate problems and concerns to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform general maintenance duties that include repairs of refrigeration system, air conditioning, heating, and related systems as appropriate.
• Process of refrigerant in accordance to EPA Regulations.
• Provide routine PM services on racks, cases & alarming systems.
• Track refrigerant use per company & EPA guidelines.
• Update Control set-points.
• Repair refrigerant leaks, repair evaporators, coolers & freezers, heating and air conditioning repair.
• Electrical control wiring and trouble shooting of controls.
• Analyze mechanical operation of units for proper operation.
• Order necessary repair parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Repair doors, doorframes, gaskets and closures on refrigerated equipment.
• Emergency calls.
• Respond to calls both during working hours and after working hours (optional back-up contractor).

RequirementsBasic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA Certification (Universal).
• Refrigeration/HVAC / Electrical experience.
• Able to climb ladders for service above ceilings
• Able to climb ladders for roof access to equipment
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
