RN-Clinical Care Coord Emergency Dept.

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within a hospital. Schedules employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow. Ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Assigns patients to appropriate health practitioners. May perform other administrative functions as necessary. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to CNO. Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program; two years RN experience; Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Arkansas in accordance with the Arkansas Nursing Board Practice Act; current American Heart Association BLS; current ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) or acquired within the first 60 days of employment Preferred 5 years ED experience; demonstrated leadership skills
