Bill Smith Auto Parts is looking for a full time Sales Manager that will ensure that our customer’s satisfaction excel above their expectations making them a repeat customer while leading a sales team that is based on integrity, customer service and cost conscious of the products that are passed on to our Bill Smith’s Auto Part’s customers.  The company is growing and continuing to give customers the products they are looking for with the sales department leading the growth in an innovative direction and on the leading edge driving sales, controlling costs, and creating new as well as repeat customers while remaining compliant with company procedures in accordance to expectation.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage sales personnel at all locations.
  • Ensure training and development of all sales personnel.
  • Assumes responsibility for the sales operation positions when coverage is needed in sales positions.
  • Delegates and ensures store merchandising tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Create or update and ensure all company policies, and loss prevention procedures are followed
  • Provides feedback regarding sales department employees performance to the Office Manager
  • Addresses customer concerns and resolves them with a goal of turning a complaint into a compliment.
  • Oversee and ensure accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised
  • Motivates sales team to go above and beyond the normal purchase experience and create repeat customers with great Customer Service, integrity and current market products to enhance sales and profits
  • Coordinate with sales team to develop and implement parts sales plan.
  • Manage daily activities of sales team to meet sales objectives.
  • Perform inventory management to avoid surplus and obsolete stocks.
  • Identify new business opportunities to improve sales.
  • Analyze expenses and revenues and make adjustments in sales plan to achieve profitability.
  • Evaluate the performance of sales team and develop performance improvement plans.
  • Work with sales team to develop promotional activities.
  • Identify and contact new manufactures and vendors while negotiating prices and contract negotiations with vendors as needed.
  • Address customer concerns promptly according to company guidelines.
  • Stay current in market trends and techniques.

 

Position Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Customer Service 1 year experience
  • Parts Management: 1 year is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual a plus but not required
  • ASE Certified preferred but not required
  • Demonstrates high level of company driven integrity
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, physical and background check

Full-time Monday - Friday with some Saturday’s (4 hour)

Salary: TBD/based on experience
