If you’re energetic, creative and excited by daily challenges, then we have the job for you. We specialize in preteen, youth, toddler and infant aquatic orientation and swimming progression, with an emphasis on water safety. Our team members help drive Little Otter’s values, creating an environment and a community where all feel welcome in a warm learning environment.

You must have a current lifeguard certification and be able to work from 3:15pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 7:45am to 12:45pm.  

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Watch the pool and ensure the safety of swimmers at all times.  Lifeguards must be attentive and not be distracted.
• Being a team player.
• Be able to respond rapidly to all emergencies in the pool area and administer proper care to victims in an emergency.

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard Certification with CPR and First Aid
• Must be strong swimmer
• Ability to work around the water for shifts up to 6 hours
• Strong communication skills.
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached.
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work Monday through Friday evenings and Saturday mornings
