This is a great workplace to learn new skills and advance within the aerospace manufacturing industry. We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to become an integral part of our team! Must be willing to work regular overtime. *There is some flexibility with hours for the right candidate if an individual is in school or has a preference to work longer hours 4 days a week rather than 5. Must have at least two years of maintenance experience working within a manufacturing facility - no exceptions.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment up to 480V 3 phase and facility systems such as RTU, lighting and motor circuits.
  • Utilizes strong mechanical and electrical skills in order to complete assignments.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on industrial electrical control and operating systems as scheduled.
  • Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.
  • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
  • Work from work orders, drawings, specifications, and manuals, written and verbal instructions to accomplish work with minimum interference to production.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment to insure safe and proper operating conditions.
  • Tear down, troubleshoot faulty operation, repair or replace worn or defective parts, reassemble, test and adjust for proper operation.
  • Installs new or relocate existing machinery, equipment as required.
  • Accurately completes required reports and records.
  • Replaces faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and positioning sensing devices.
  • Other duties as assigned or as required.
