Food Service Lead - 

Your Purpose:

As a the Food Services Lead, you will be responsible for operation of the OSJL cafeteria and vending operations under direction of the Food Services Manager. The role assists in the operation of catering services, stocks and prepares food, utilizing kitchen safety techniques and health standards, handling, preparation, and services of food, vending machines and procured foods for sale.  In addition, this individual will execute menus, meals, free lunch Friday catering, safety inspections and sanitary conditions of the kitchen and dining areas, cash management, and the overall efficiency of food service operations.

Why we need you:

  • Prepare food according to specifications and recipes Food Services Manager and Encore Hospitality chef

  • Ability to operate all kitchen equipment

  • Provide food and beverage service to team members including, but not limited to, setting up and replenishing the food line, salad bar and additional food and beverage stations

  • Set up and maintain food line and salad bar in a timely manner

  • Maintain cleanliness of entire cafeteria area to include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, etc.

  • Perform pre-meal and post-meal side work including, but not limited to, salad bar preparation coffee break set up, hot food preparation.

  • Obtain and maintain supplies from kitchen to set up the cafeteria during scheduled hours of service

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time

  • Operate in accordance with all health code and food safety standards

  • Assist the Food Services Manager with supervision and other managerial tasks as directed
