Providence is calling a Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist (0.5 FTE, Variable shifts) to Providence Centralia
In this position you will:
-
Provide technologist support and clerical support
-
Assist with patient registration.
-
Accurately inputs information into the computer and maintains related paperwork.

Handle specimen collection (where appropriate), preparing samples for reference laboratories.
- Perform procurement and processing of clinical specimens for laboratory analysis and reporting of results.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist (MA-P)
- Clinical laboratory experience, or completion of approved phlebotomy or MedicalAssistant training program
- Familiarization with computer skills
- Typing ability at 40 WPM
- Safe driving record
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Current CLP (ASCP) Registered Phlebotomist or equivalent certification
