Job Description:
Responsible for delivery of integrated treasury solutions to Global Commercial Banking clients. Partner closely with client-facing teammates in GBAM to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.
- The Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) will be responsible for managing and aggressively growing treasury revenue across a portfolio of Business Banking clients with annualized sales of $5MM to $50MM. They will partner with Relationship Managers in Northern NJ. Additionally – aligning with Product Partners across Credit, Trade, Liquidity, Foreign Exchange, Card and International to develop customized treasury solutions that meet prospect and client objectives.
- The TSO will focus both on new client acquisition and expansion of existing relationships.
- The TSO will be accountable for revenue growth, client planning, client calling, portfolio development, pricing strategy and proposal/presentation development/delivery.
- The TSO will maintain a strong client focus, treasury industry expertise and a broad understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of Global cash management products and services.
- The TSO will possess strong interpersonal skills and appropriate financial acumen.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of treasury management and/or client facing experience
- Proven business development skills with a Business Banking or Commercial Client set
- Strong relationship management skills & trusted advisor approach
- Ability to sell across GTS solutions, with solid Treasury solution knowledge
- Knowledge and ability to articulate Treasury trend/insights, best practice, innovation etc.
- Broad and deep familiarity with US treasury management products, services and trends
- Ability to function effectively as an individual contributor
- Collaborative approach to business in support of partners and teammates
- Strong Executive presence both internally/externally
- BA Degree Required (Business, Accounting or Finance preferred)
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strategic thinker, with ability to gain access to C-suite executives
- Strong drive and desire to succeed / exceed
- Keen ability to network and navigate the bank and organizations in order to make an impact
Desired Skills
- CTP designation and/or MBA a plus
- Previous experience working with Business Banking or Middle Market clients
- Knowledge of international cash management structures
