Job Overview:
Outbound forklift operators are responsible for taking pallets of product from storage slots and placing them into correct location for selection for delivery to retail customers.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Moves product from the reserve locations to warehouse selection locations using forklift.
- Records all movements of product on the movement form or computer terminal on lift.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion, free of debris, empty pallets and product on the floor.
- Ensures proper care of fork truck and report any needed repairs to supervisor.
- Fills empty selection slots as required.
- Rotates product as required.
Job Requirements:
- Requires transporting items weighing up to approximately 60 lbs.
- Requires standing entire shift.
- Requires forklift operator's license or the ability to be licensed.
- Must be able to operate a high reach lift truck.
- Must be able to make simple math calculations.
- Must be able to perform at any applicable work performance standard.
- Must be comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment
