Hiring and Training Coordinator – Part Time

General Description/Position Purpose:

The Hiring and Training Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Regional Hiring and Training Manager in the execution of recruiting, employee selection and training strategies for our Part Time Retail Inventory Associate position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous recruiting and training experience
  • Previous experience processing a high volume of work, under tight time restraints
Qualifications:
  • Possesses skills to be an effective public speaker for group presentations
  • Demonstrate proficiency with the RM-2, knowledge of RGIS inventory procedures, and understanding of counting techniques
  • Exceptional communication Skills
  • Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Basic analytical skills
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Taleo (Applicant Tracking System – ATS)
Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance is met to specific basic hiring practices
  • Presenting a professional demeanor to all potential hires
  • Conducting new hire pre-screening
  • Performing interview sessions and extending offers
  • Administering initial and advance trainings as needed (including in store events)
  • Tracking full training life cycle
  • Maintaining continual communication with field managers to ensure excellence in execution
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employment information
  • Assist Regional Hiring & Training Manager or applicable manager with the performance and maintenance of all elements associated with the hiring and training process such as:
    • Run daily and weekly hiring and training reports
    • Ensuring applicant information is created and maintained in applicant database
    • Confirming all new hires are scheduled for their first three inventories
    • Following up with new hires after events to identify additional training opportunities
    • Encourage retention of new employees by providing a professional and welcoming environment as well as effective training
    • Adhere to all Company policies and apply such policies in a professional and consistent manner
    • Maintain a working knowledge of all RGIS inventory equipment
  • Additional skill development
    • Attend the “Train the Trainer” Course
    • Effectively utilize the RGIS Learning Center to improve associate competencies
