Job Description
GPM Investments, LLC, or GPM, is one of the largest privately-owned companies in the convenience store channel of business, operating over 1,000 stores in a total of 18 states. We are currently looking for Sales Associates/Deli Associates for our growing team!
Sales/Deli Associate Job Responsibilities:
• Greets customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store.
• Follows all laws and company policy when selling age restricted products (cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol, etc.)
• Provides fast and efficient service.
• Suggestive sells new and promotional items to customers.
• Operates the cash register while performing outstanding customer service.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise on the shelves and coolers.
• Maintains a clean store inside and out.
• Cleans food service and beverage equipment to ensure fresh product at all times.
• Utilizes store approved chemicals to clean floors, restrooms, etc.
• Food service Associates handle food safely following all federal, state and local guidelines for safe food handling.
• Food service Associates works around hot grease and other cooking equipment when preparing food.
• Completes other job related assigned tasks.
Job Requirements
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction)
