Job Description
PURPOSE
SRS is staffing experienced merchandisers for a new store set up in Menards. Menard Inc. is a chain of home improvement centers primarily in the Midwestern United States.
Candidates must have experience in new store set-up or remodels in the DIY category and the skill sets to be able to install large lumber racking like shelves. This is heavy duty work and you must meet the physical requirements to be considered for this position. Construction or carpentry experience is a plus!
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in DIY or Walmart back room remodels.
- Ability to work up to 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday)
- Ability to work approximately up to 50 hours per week.
- Project is scheduled to begin January 7th, 2018, and is scheduled to take 12 weeks.
- Must be able to work with a team follow direction.
- Must have good vision and be able to climb a ladder, operate power tools to include drill, hammer, screwdriver.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Time management skills
- Go above and beyond attitude
- Outstanding communicator – must be able to communicate with everyone from the customer to internal SRS employees especially the Retail Supervisor
May lead to a full-time opportunity working on dedicated Menards new store set up teams.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- This is a temporary full-time hourly position; pay rate is based on experience.
- Overnight accommodations will be provided.
- Per diem provided.
