Job Description

We are hiring for an Assistant General Manager to join our team. The Assistant General Manager role is to assist the GM in accountability for all operations of the store.

Role and Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Meeting labor goals, inventory, scheduling, building sales, completing daily and weekly paperwork with accuracy,
  • Following the standard of store cleanliness and appearance, maintaining a qualified team, and upholding the Pizzafire brand.
  • The AGM position is a training position to become a General Manager.
  • The Assistant General Manager position requires a minimum of 3 closing shifts per week (2 weekdays and 1 weekend).
  • ENSURES THAT THE STORE IS SERVING QUALITY PRODUCTS WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
  • ENSURES THAT THE STORE IS CLEAN, SAFE, AND OPERATING AT PEAK EFFICIENCY.
  • ENSURES ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPING CREW FOR EFFICIENCY.
  • HELPS IN LOCAL COMMUNITY STORE MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS.

ADDITIONAL R&R

  • Provides feedback and training to crew on goals and meeting expectations with standards of product quality, customer service, and store cleanliness.
  • Communication information on company and store goals to Team Members.
  • Coaches and counsels to improve performance.
  • Aides in new hire process including interviewing and accurately completing new hire and payroll forms.
  • Recruits and helps select crew members and maintains staffing level consistent with volume.
  • Handles Customer complaints in a manner that produces good will.
  • Aides the GM in all operations including but not limited to: hiring, scheduling, inventory control, paperwork, etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to take responsibility and accountability and be ready to grow with the company
  • Obtain Certification as per TABC requirements, if any
  • Willingness to sign Confidentiality Agreement & Non-Compete in Pizza Industry for 6 Months from the date of termination of the employment.

Time Management Skills including, but not limited to:

  • Must create schedules and be able to complete projects.
  • Must be flexible and able to oversee multi-unit stores within select region with urgency while reaching set goals.
  • Ensure smooth operation throughout the day, and go above and beyond routine roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure that all staff members are strictly following Companies Standards and Procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as necessary.
  • Successfully complete written and hands-on certification tests.
  • Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed while demonstrating leadership abilities and commitment to excellent guest service.
  • Desire to learn, be committed, self-motivated, represent PizzaFire culture and brand.
  • Fair and equal treatment of all PizzaFire employees required.
  • Must be able to physically perform roles while sitting, standing, walking, and/or lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to use a keyboard on a daily basis and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word and standard office
  • equipment such as a printer and scanner.
  • Must be capable of performing any duty, of any position, while training or covering staffing needs.
  • Must have reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations required.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience.

Preferred Skills
Advanced classes in business management, restaurant and hospitality management, or similar fields.
