Job Description
Urban Farmhouse Designs will be opening our new store at the Dallas Farmer's Market. We are currently interviewing for our Designer/Sales Consultant position to begin training at our flagship store in Oklahoma City. This is a commission based position.
Role and Responsibilities
The Designer is the individual who greets our customers and assists customers with the designing of their home. This individual is responsible for engaging our customer(s) and showing them the full value in our product and brand. Key components outlined below are the minimum functions of this role:
· Ability to envision and match product based on the Urban Farmhouse Designs brand and the customer’s vision
· Has great relation and networking skills
· Maintains high levels of performance amongst peers
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Understands and practices up-sale techniques to package customer furniture with accessory items
· Understands and educates customers on payment tools such as financing options
· Must accept feedback and coaching on best practices
· Assists with other tasks at manager’s discretion
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum 2 years sales experience or customer service experience with emphasis on creativity or design.
Additional Notes
The individual must be willing and able to function in a fast paced and growing environment.
