Rotary Department Manager

SUMMARY 
Operates machinery to modify the shape and change the nature of materials. Check machinery for cleanliness and proper working order makes adjustments as necessary. Produces quality parts according to schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate a limited number of machines/ presses in manufacture of products.
• Understand basic blueprints and use  measuring instruments.
• Verify materials, prints, tools, and dies per work order.
• Be familiar with and apply basic Statistical Process Control in the manufacture of parts.
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment. Maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving problems.
• Confers with Plant Manager to implement plans and recommendations.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Interprets and enforces company policies and safety regulations to workers. 
• Establishes and/or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with die make-up and set-up.
• Experience with web handling
• Experience running multiple substrates
• 5+ years of production experience
