Collections Representative

COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time and Part-Time)

We are a full-service Collection Agency and are seeking individuals available to work full-time (40+ hours per week) and part- time (max of 25 hours per week) in our corporate office in Petaluma, CA. Optio Solutions provides the training and tools you need to succeed. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact consumers regarding debt payments • Take return phone calls from debtors • Use computer systems to handle and manage accounts • Follow Federal and State laws regarding debt collection

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• General computer knowledge

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Communication and negotiation skills • Ability to articulate clear, concise instructions and responses • Strong sense of ethics • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations • Persuasive, persistent and firm demeanor when needed • Time management skills

NOT REQUIRED, BUT PREFERRED/PLUS

• Previous collections and/or call center experience • Bilingual (Spanish)
