Active OHIO Registered Nurse License REQUIRED!

4+ years RN experience required! LPN, CNA, etc. will not be considered.

Currently seeking Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses (RN) for local, per diem or travel positions in Ohio.

Applicants MUST Have the Following:

• 2+ years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
• Valid OHIO Registered Nurse License
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS Certifications & Health Certificate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Best-suited for the job is an RN with experience in labor and delivery, as well as all other facets of the mother baby continuum of care. Applicants should be prepared to ready families for the birthing process, care for patients actively in labor, and assess newborns. In addition, the Labor Delivery nurses will be tasked with designing, implementing, and detailing all nursing care undergone within the unit.

A labor and delivery RN nurse must possess excellent critical thinking skills and an ability to make decisions quickly using good professional judgment.

The RN nurse must be able to recognize complications and act quickly in order to stabilize the situation and communicate with the patient, the patient s family, and the appropriate physicians and specialists in order to ensure a safe and healthy delivery.
