Full-Time Driver Mechanic

The FCA Quality organization is currently seeking a Driver/Mechanic to join FCA's team at Arizona Proving Ground in Yucca, Arizona. This position offers the selected candidate an opportunity to be an integral part of a company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assemble and install, remove, disassemble, and repair vehicles and related parts
• Garage operations such as cleaning, repairing and replacing fuel systems, units and connections, engine tune-up, removing and replacing cooling systems, instrument panel gauges, exhaust system units, suspension components, wheels and accessories
• Replace or remove electrical components such as alternators, radios, heaters, relays and switches
• Install and remove ballast
• Attach test equipment and instrumentation to road test vehicles and drive vehicles under routine conditions
• Set-up and operate test equipment to test experimental and production components for performance, endurance, and other operating characteristics
• Record data and observations according to standard test procedures
• Use hand, bench and machine tools and welding equipment
• Perform tire duty and tow truck operation
• Durability test driving and other driving assignments
