Description
Employee Type: Hourly
Hourly Rate: $12.30/hour (+.15/hour shift differential)
Days of work: Sunday through Thursday
Friday's, Saturday's and Holidays as scheduled by management
Hours of work: 10:00pm to 8:30am (overtime determined by production needs)
Primary Responsibilities: Move pallets of product. Retrieve needed supplies. Wash jacks properly. Must have a valid Perdue Pallet Jack License. Adhere to safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
Eligibility Requirements:
NO active disciplinaries
NO more than 2 occurrences on attendance record
Must have been employed with Perdue and in current position for at least 6 months
Must submit an online application at www.perdue.com to be considered
Must have a valid Perdue pallet Jack License (attach copy of license)
Experience Requirements:
Must be skilled in operating a pallet jack
Education Requirements:
Strong reading, writing, math skills and a High Scholl diploma or GED preferred but not required.
