Commissary-Maintenance - Full-time / Part-time

Overview of Position:

Maintenance B's are responsible for the maintenance and performance of Krispy Kreme equipment and building

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completing routine preventive maintenance on all plant equipment
• Maintaining, repairing and installing mix plant equipment
• Performing routine facility maintenance and repair
• Troubleshooting machinery problems
• Operating machinery tools, performing welding, and fabricating sheet metal as required.
• Assembling mechanical components and electrical devices as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Essential skills and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Must be proficient in at least 5 of the following areas and some knowledge of others:
• Automated equipment operation – Setup, teardown and repair
• Boiler operation
• Electrical wiring
• Hydraulics
• Pipe fitting / Plumbing
• Pneumatics
• Sheet metal
• Shop machinery
• Welding

• PLC troubleshooting and programming

• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a part of a team
• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Nonessential skills and Experience:

• Three to five years experience in Industrial Plant Maintenance or completion of technical program (electrical/welding/or maintenance) preferred

• Must be able to read and understand safety instructions or procedures and warning

Working Conditions:

• The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside
• If the required work area is not air-conditioned, in the summer the worker may be subject to extreme heat; temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
• Some areas have a high level of noise and require hearing protection
