HVAC Controls Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities

Primary:

• Start-up, commissioning, ongoing troubleshooting, and servicing of HVAC equipment at customer locations.
• Work with the sales and operations teams to develop comprehensive HVAC maintenance programs including scope, schedule, and pricing.
• Develop and catalog Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Methods of Procedures (MOP).
• Develop routine maintenance and calibration program for internal test equipment and tools.
• Provide input to company safety program, including routine documentation review.
• Train junior technicians in proper testing formats and techniques.
• Manage customer relations while on site.
• Identify opportunities for increased work scope and up-sales.
• Respond to emergency service calls during normal business hours.
• Share on call after hours emergency service responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in Engineering/Mechanical field with experience in PLC's
• Clear driving record
• Drug-free
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Read architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic mechanical control systems
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• CFC License

Preferred:

• Government clearance
• Honeywell Tridium/Niagara proficiency and certification
• Major Data Center coordinated construction/commissioning/operational experience
• HVAC journeyman's license
• Experience working in Mission Critical environment
