JOB SUMMARY:
Casual dining foodservers are ambassadors to the brand food and beverage programs. The positions represent our finest servicestandards, educated and trained by our World Class Managers. Our service team will welcome the customer,provide a warm and personal greeting and offer our menus with depth andknowledge. Our servers will demonstraterefined service techniques with an emphasis on an upbeat and enthusiasticpersonality. Candidates will support theHorseshoe service standards and contribute to our legendary team.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Staffis well groomed, attired in clean, crisp, well-maintained uniforms with properfitting.
Greetsguests within two minutes of seating and offers a friendly verbal greeting.
Proactivelyoffers additional products or service or special Total Rewards VIP offerings.
Checksfor satisfaction between each course and speaks to the dish in specific terms.
Allservers are trained to describe in detail the preparation methods andingredients associated with any item on the menu. Explain menu highlights and promote specialsprior to taking food orders.
Serversare trained to describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredientsassociate with all premium cocktails offered on the cocktail menu and be givenbasic Mixology training.
Serverswill be required to attend all training session and vendor tastings.
Allcandidates will be required to take a menu knowledge test at the conclusion oftraining and show proficiency in order taking, wine service, and tablesidecooking techniques.
Allservice candidates are required to participate in all sales promotions andincentive targets. Managers will tracktop sales and reward top performers.
Willcommunicate with management to express suggestions and customer feedback. Work in collaboration with culinary staff toensure the best possible customer experience.
Allstaff is required to attend daily pre-shift and at the conclusion be preparedto pass the information to customers and fellow employees.
AllStaff required for inspecting table set ups, cleanliness of china, glass andflatware. Servers are responsible forwiping of all flatware and glassware for spot free finishes.
Allservice staff are responsible for following detailed list of side work, openingand closing procedures.
Staffare required to be prepared daily with proper service equipment (wine key,crumber, etc.).
Staffis required to adhere to established departmental standard operating proceduresfor all matters of execution and behavior.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent, College or Food and Beverage degree preferred.
MajorHotel or chain restaurant experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Abilityto bend over, lift, and carry ten entrees on an oval (approximately 50-60pounds).
Abilityto work 8 hour shift with 90% of that time spent standing and walking.
Previousexperience in high volume operation with fine dining steps of servicepreferred.
Allcandidates are responsible for proper training of Micros POS systems.
