POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a Project Coordinator for the Mobile Market with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to social justice. The Operator will work with a team to identify and develop strategies that will move the Mobile Market enterprise towards higher levels of self-sufficiency. The Mobile Market Operator's main responsibilities focus on creating a community around food by (1) executing scheduled pop-up mobile markets, and by (2) engaging with customers on delivery, enrollment, nutrition and data collection.
In the course of operating the mobile market, the Project Coordinator Mobile Market will (1) drive safely, (2) maintain the mobile market -- a retrofitted refrigerated box truck - with scheduled services and inspections, (3) monitor the temperature controlled freight periodically to ensure that the cargo does not spoil in transit, (3) load and unload freight, (4) ensure for vehicle cleanliness, (6) keep records of shipments, miles traveled, gas consumption, trailer temperatures and stops made.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Maryland State driver's license with a minimum of 2 points and an official motor vehicle record that meets the recommended criteria outlined by Bon Secours' insurance carrier.

MVA Qualifications:
- A candidate will be disqualified from consideration if there is any combination of preventable accidents or moving citations totaling three (3) events in the last 36 month period of time on a driver's MVR
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 15 years

No failure/refusal of random/pre-hire drug and alcohol tests in the past 3 years
- Experience driving in Baltimore City.
- Capacity to monitoring refrigeration level from the Carrier temperature gauge system located inside cab.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; commitment to social justice Proven ability to excute projects from start to end
- Experience with or capacity to learn Point of Sales software, nutrition information
- Strong customer service practices, including ability to relate respectfully and in a culturally competent manner with families and individuals served by the Mobile Market truck.
- Ability to set-up and break-down truck into a mobile market
- Past sales, farming, cooking, and nutrition experience is a plus.
