Purpose Statement:

As an associate of SRS Envoy Services, LLC., you represent the ShopRite From Home brand in the marketplace as you "bring the Customer's Shopping Cart from the store to their home or business" with an intentional focus on providing the 'spice & spark' associated with a positive customer experience regardless of that final destination.

Core Functions / Minimum Requirements

The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Timely delivery of grocery products to a broad base of homes and businesses
• Thorough, accurate delivery in good condition of all products that have been identified to the customer
• Ability to interact with ShopRite Associates at all levels of the operation.
• Interact with the customer in a positive and professional manner while making deliveries conveying that professionalism through both appearance and demeanor
• Follow all defined processes for delivery and handling of products
• Ability to load and unload vehicles as needed
• Must be able to follow a planned delivery route with minimal exceptions
• Must be flexible to deliver into the areas that are needed based on the company being able to establish efficient routes, while also meeting customer demand
• Ability to lift and carry containers up to 50 lbs., climbing stairs, entering buildings and elevators are required
• Ability to safely navigate the company vehicle in making deliveries
• Ability to utilize existing and new technologies utilized to support the business
• Ability to convey information/issues to the Envoy Supervisor
• Must treat all company equipment with respect and per the prescribed handling procedures
• Practices food safety in all aspects of the position
• Must comply with all company and union policy and procedures

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• Delivery experience preferred, customer experience in dealing with the public is essential
• Excellent attendance and dependability
• Good communication skills
• Must be detail-orientated and have the ability to focus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, sometimes extreme
• Positive attitude toward supporting the company leadership and company goals
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of internal material not known to the general public
• Treat team members with respect
• Good interpersonal skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Good understanding of all rules of the road
• Navigational skills, ability to interpret directions
• Ability to work various days of the week to support this 7 day service
