Cashier - Full-time / Part-time

Clerk duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Wait on and assist customers.
• Maintain a professional, friendly and courteous appearance and attitude with customers as all times. You are required to show respect to customers and make them your number one priority.
• Handle Company funds in an efficient, accurate and honest manner.
• Maintain inventory control.
• Unpack and price merchandise.
• Fill ice bags and stock ice merchandisers.
• Front shelves, both grocery and cooler.
• Restock all liquid dispensers.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire store, inside and outside.
• Properly operate cash register and abide by all cash handling policies.
• Comply with state laws and Company policy regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, lottery tickets and other age-restricted products where these items are sold.
• Have capability of lifting 50 pounds from a dead weight lift.
• Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Complete other essential functions as required.

Position Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to be eligible for employment in a store that sells beer. The minimum age for a clerk at all other locations is 18 years old.
• No criminal convictions for theft, fraud, forgery, drug abuse or sexual misconduct.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Must be flexible with work hours.
