Have a working knowledge, including response procedures of all burglary, robbery, and fire alarm systems, and opening/closing procedures.
Maintain general building safety/security. Respond to in-building emergency situations, escort hostile individuals from building. Comply with safety guidelines and report all injuries.
Work closely with Inventory Integrity to reduce shrinkage.
Assist in Violence in the Workplace incidents. Assist employees as necessary regarding their personal safety concerns relating to the workplace. Escalate all incidents to the Loss Prevention Manager / Regional Loss Prevention Manager immediately.
Respond promptly to building pages and alarms.
Perform daily building perimeter walks (inside and outside).
Observe employee behavior for indicators of internal theft and report to LP Mgr. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience working in systems technology preferred
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
