Job Description:
Full-time Technician opening for an industry-leading carbonation solutions company. The Technician will be installing Carbon Dioxide monitoring and alarm systems for restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations and various other customers around the Peoria, IL area.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain tools, equipment and keep supplies and parts in order.
- Assisting in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites
- Communicate with clients and documentation
- The technicians will be installing a LogiCO2 Mk10 CO2 monitoring system. This is an alarm system used to identify dangerous or high levels of Carbon Dioxide in enclosed areas, similar to a Low Oxygen monitoring system.
- There is no electrical wiring involved, it is all plug-n-play and power supply plugs into standard 110V wall outlets.
- General maintenance or light construction/handyman skills typically are all that is needed to be successful at this job.
- Reliable transportation is critical to long-term retention, as are punctuality/attendance.
- Our minimum expectations for productivity is 4 completed installations per shift, the systems take approx. 1 to 1.5 hrs for most locations (does not include driving time), however some locations may take longer depending on complexity of the building layout.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (this may vary slightly depending on daily client schedules). 40-hour work week, little-to-no overtime expected.
$0.54/mile reimbursement for driving to client sites.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience of light construction or mechanical or electrical background
- Conduits, wiring experience
- Own basic hand tools
- Reliable transportation
Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
