Press Assistant - Hartland
Career opportunity with well established company who has never had a layoff!
Hours are 4:30pm to 5:00am
Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday.
Pay: $16.20 per hour
This is a temporary to permanent position with a prominent employer in the Hartland, WI community.
- Previews job order and inspects incoming job.
- Enter job information into computer system at start and end of each job.
- Sets up and loads proper job stock into machine to achieve “run/start” status and job approval from QC.
- Begins run, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of printing material.
- Monitors the quality of laminated materials
- Cuts sample of laminated material from the end of laminated roll and inspects for imperfections and documents results.
- Maintains a print register of materials and related paperwork as required.
- Lubricates and oils the press as needed. Maintains a neat and orderly work area throughout the shift. Cleans the equipment at the end of the shift per prescribed procedures.
- Minimizes waste by maintaining set-up, laminator layout, and registrations regularly.
- Washes machine and returns job components at end of run.
